Healthy Teaching Kitchen: Finish Line Frozen Yogurt

This month we bring you two flavors of frozen yogurt to help cool you down this summer without the extra calories. Both use Greek yogurt which adds a thicker texture with less carbs and both include fresh fruit. Strawberry Frozen Yogurt

  • 4 cups fresh strawberries
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • ½ cup plain Greek nonfat yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Banana Chocolate Frozen Yogurt

  • 4 bananas, peeled and frozen
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • ½ cup plain Greek nonfat yogurt
  • 2/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 4 teaspoons vanilla extract


Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender. Process until creamy, about 2-3 minutes. Scrape down the sides of the bowl to make sure there are no lumps left. Transfer to an airtight, freezer-safe container and freeze for a minimum of 6 hours but preferably overnight. Store in freezer for up to 1 month.
